Q: First of all, tell us about your feelings before the concert.
Kim Junsu: I feel
honored to be here for concert after 3 years. 3 years ago, I felt
something special when we held our concert for the first time at here,
as JYJ. This time-we have our concert again at Tokyo Dome-is more
special moment for us than before we did. It took quite long time than
we expected until we came back here. So we try to do our best as we can
finish this concert well even we have no regret.
Kim Jaejoong: We were
worried about the seats of our concert would remain unfilled, but many
fans came and come here as we can’t feel our hiatus. We can realize that
many fans have trusted us until now. The support and passion that fans
give us.. There was nothing to change except the time-3 years.
Park Yoochun: I remember
that we and staff cried together after our last concert in Tokyo Dome.
At that time, we couldn’t imagine that it took much time just like this
to return to Tokyo Dome. I think we’ve never passed our time idly.
We-JYJ have worked so hard. Now -leaving behind the time to wait, we’re
so happy as we have our composure to meet the fans with smile. For
years, we had so many ups and downs- we were missing on TV and had
disappeared on the newspaper, and we even had interruption to hold our
concert. This concert has the meaning of comeback to restart our working
Q: Tell us the meaning of this concert for each of you
KJJ: Honestly, last
concert was the meaning of the start of JYJ. We’ve never imagined that
it meant the end of our work in Japan. Actually, we’ve had the half of
our work in Japan since debuted. Because of that, Japan is another home
to JYJ, and we even released more new songs in here than in Korea. So we
felt heavy as we couldn’t work at here. Come to think of it, blocking
our work in Korea and Japan makes us more mature mentally and many other
ways. Since that time, we’ve felt thanks for a very small thing.
Actually, it was so natural thing to appear on TV in old days but now we
are very happy even if we couldn’t appear on the radio for a while. We
could realize that everything we’ve enjoyed doesn’t get easily. Last 3
years, our various workings such as playing in musicals, dramas and
films made a stepping stone of the restart of our working. This concert doesn’t mean the end, it means the start.
Q: Despite the long time of absence, all of you are still so popular. What is the secret of your popularity?
KJJ: We also felt
surprised while we performed this concert. 3 years is quite long, but
it’s quite short, too. Waiting for the uncertain future is not easy to
do, even if they are family or friends. We feel really grateful to our
fans who have waited and supported our future. We have believed and
trusted our fans and we have waited for them. I believe that this
concert could be possible to hold because we trust each other.
Q: What will you expect from your work in Japan for the future?
PYC: I wish this concert
could be the beginning of restart our work in Japan. Of course, some
problems around us still remain. But we’ve never stopped and have tried
to work harder when we met the barrier to block our work. We’ll also
never care about another one although we’ll meet. Because we are trying
to work hard every members of our company also try to work harder. We’ll
try to work harder if we can take a small chance.
Q: Checking out the cue-sheet of this concert, there are many solos in there. What is the selecting songs this time?
KJJ: For the time of
absence, Junsu and I released the solo albums . there’s the variety in
this concert through the solo stages. Yoochun show a new side that he
has through his new song. We specially selected our favorite songs. We
show many different genres such as R&B, hip-hop, ballad, rock an
electronics. Apart from that, there are many Japanese songs. We want to
sing Japanese songs for our Japanese fans because it’s been for a long
time.
Q: Jaejoong, what is the reason to select the song ”Glamororus Sky”?
KJJ: it was written by Hyde (Vocal of L’Arc en Ciel) who is on of my favorite. Junsu recommended to me
Q: Junsu, Why did you select the song ”Minna Sora no Shita”?
KJS: I came to know this
song 4 years ago. At that time, we had so many changes and had really
hard time. We were consoled from the lyrics of that song which is sung
by Ayaka. So this song came to uppermost my mind when I selected
Japanese song that I’ll sing. In this song, there’s a story that we
want to tell to Japanese fans who we couldn’t meet for the last 3 years.
Q: To Three of you, this
December, it’ll be 10 years since you debuted, including the work as the
name of TVXQ. How do you feel about that?
KJS: I was sophomore
high school student 10 years
ago. I can remember that we debuted to sing the song of “Britney Spears” at that time. And now, I’m 28 years old. Honestly, I can’t believe it’s already about 10 years, we had many good things and bad things at the same time, but I think I’ve lived the life that anyone have never experienced easily, because I’ve experienced many things as a singer. It’s 10 years since we debuted so we’ll go towards 20 years. Actually, I’ve played the soccer so hard because I don’t want to be tired. Stamina is the most important thing for a man.

Q: We heard that you’re going to
sing “Rainy Blue” that you already syng before, when you worked as the
name of TVXQ. I think it’s very special to all of you
KJJ: Actually, we don’t
want to sing this song by ourselves-JYJ. Why we are going to sing this
song is the meaning that.. we want to ruminate the memories that we had
the concert in Tokyo Dome. There are precious memories in that song to
think of our memories in the past.
Q: When is the happiest moment, and the toughest moment for the last 4 years that you’ve worked as the name of JYJ?
KJJ: Lately, the
happiest moment is when we checked the number of our audience for this
concert. Nowadays, there are many singers. We thought that people could
forget about us because of the time of absence, but we feel thanks that
they didn’t.
Q: What is your goal for the future?
PYC: We don’t want more things than now. The main goal is working for a long time as JYJ, not simply making more money or gaining popularity.
